Estate - a long car without an extra door at the back, and a lot of space behind the back seats.
but Salon is a large room for entertaining guest.

borne - to be carried (the leaf was borne away by the wind)

antipode - the direct opposite of sth
antecedents - a person's ancestors or family
antebellum - occuring or existing before a War esp. the US Civil War
ante-room - / ante-chamber - waiting room before the main hall/mess
antepenultimate - last but two in a series; third last.
antenatal - before birth
(the antepenultimate item on the agenda)
Auntie - Informal name for BBC and ABC
ante means 'before'
anti means 'the opposite of'
