The focus of the journal is to open the floodgates of research possibilities to raise new issues and to voice new ways of thinking with a strong edge towards ground-breaking explorations thereby changing and challenging the frontiers of knowledge. Broadly speaking, HuSS spans Humanities and Social Sciences and is bent on roping in a wealth of trans-global input of innovative, inventive, applied and problem-solving ideas and initiatives on upcoming research areas. The aim is to connect and reach out to the scholars across geographical boundaries and thus, nullify the spatial and temporal hiatus in accessing the Eastern and the Western pool of research experience and expertise.

Film Fest @ Chennai

Get ready for the European Union Film Festival, Chennai
from 31 March to 10 April, 2015. 
From Day 1 to Day 5, screenings will be conducted at Alliance Francaise of Madras, 
and 
from Day 6 to Day 11, at Goethe-Institut, Chennai.

A total of 21 films will be screened. 
Some of the films that will be showcased at the festival include The Foreigner, Vis-à-vis, The Boy Upside Down, Committed, A Place called Home, Shanghai Gypsy, The Candidate, and A Woman’s Revenge.
