Prof. Premjith's 'Man - An Awakening...!'

Prof. Premjith, an ardent lover of theatre, attempts to present through his impactful plays, a blend between the Postmodern and the Practical ‘Mode’ of Philosophy, with a passion for effecting a rejuvenation in the minds of the Patients etherised on the table’ type, by visual impact and verbal minimalism.

This he does, through his favourite medium, THEATRE.

Theatre, is, and continues to be his passion.

Given below is a report in today’s THE HINDU on one of his plays.

‘Man- an awakening’, the first theatrical enterprise of Theatre Beings of Madras Christian College (MCC) was a ringing success, if the sustained applause of the packed audience in Anderson Hall, MCC, was any indication.

Theatre Beings were able to produce their first play within six months of its formation.

This theatre group comprises of a dedicated team of theatre-loving students and teachers of MCC.

May their tribe increase!
