Those of us who are planning on writing an
academic research paper might have had problems drafting the most important
part of our presentation or paper, which is the drafting of an abstract.
Well, these little guidelines would - i'm sure - help give you an outline for writing an effective abstract for
a research paper.
And this could be done quite easily by
plotting them using the ‘4E’ approach!
And remember, an abstract need not exceed 300
words (maximum)!
They are –
Firstly, Establish the problem clearly!
Secondly, Explain the structure of your paper!
Thirdly, Elaborate on the methodology that you
are going to use! (define and justify)
Finally, Emphasise on the importance of this
contribution!
