Anusha Sreekant is an undergraduate student of English literature at Madras Christian College, Chennai.

She is a theatre enthusiast and writer, with five plays, a novel, and a poetry collection to her credit.

She has also worked on five research papers in themes relating to literature and food branding, canonization of drama, moral education through speculative fiction, street theatre, and Othering in literature.

She is an avid reader and loves animated conversations on anything from the Big Bang to the Big Crunch.

Ms. Anusha will be reviewing Richard M Pico’s Consciousness in Four Dimensions: Biological Relativity and the Origins of Thought.

Shivani Pillai is currently a III BA English Language and Literature student at MCC.

She is an avid reader who lives in the midst of books; under rooftops of libraries and through windows of bookshops.

She writes essays, short-stories and some occasional poetry, and is interested in research.

Ms. Shivani will be reviewing Doris Lessing’s The Golden Notebook.

Urmi Mukherjee is our third delegate of the evening, on our Books & Coffee Meet.

Urmi Mukherjee, a postgraduate student in English literature from Dr. MGR Janaki College is a keen reader of any text.

Growing up in Calcutta, amidst the rich Bengali culture and literature, the natural tendency towards reading was inevitable.

She finds solace in the philosophy of Tagore, psychology of Shakespearean characters, and the language of the Romantics.

She is often spotted at the classics section of a library.

Ms. Urmi will be reviewing Taslima Nasrin's Lajja

Haritha Senthilkumar is our fourth delegate of the evening.

Haritha is doing her final year BA English Literature at Bishop Heber College, Trichy.

She's a literature buff who is so passionate about psychology and philosophy as well.

She is currently working as a content writer in *The Asian Chronicle* tabloid newspaper for the past two months.

Haritha has also published some of her articles.

She loves writing poems and quotes.

To Haritha, learning is a great passion, as it enriches one's mind and strength!

Ms. Haritha will be reviewing Robin Sharma's Who Will Cry When you Die.

Note –

1. Our Moderator for tomorrow’s Meet is Prof. Sharon Alice Christy, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Lady Doak College, Madurai, TN.

2. The Books & Coffee Virtual Meet will start sharp at Six pm, Friday, 02 October 2020.

3. Hence participants are requested to enter the ZOOM waiting room at least ten minutes in advance.

4. Since we have limited participation for this very informal Meet, admission will be on first-come-first-served basis alone.

5. It is also suggested that participants read at least one of the following books to engage more effectively with the presentation of the Delegates.

6. Participants may unmute themselves and ask their questions [pertaining to the book], after the Moderator’s call.
