This beautiful Yellow-legged Gull aka seagull – that we spotted in Kodiakarai, Tamil Nadu, is a very rare sighting in the Indian sub-continent. This common large seagull is found in the Mediterranean and northwestern Africa, as well as the Azores and Canary Islands.
