The Relevance of Myth in Modern Literature

Theme of the Seminar: The Seminar will be a platform for PG
Students to explore the relationship between Myth & Literature and how myth
has been used in works of literature all over the world in the Modern era from
T. S. Eliot to Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Last date for Submission of Abstracts: 18 February 2015
Last date for Submission of Full Papers: 23 February
2015
Points to Note: Participants are asked to send in two copies
of the abstract in about 150 words. A4, MS Word 97-2003, Times New Roman, Font
size 12, with 1.5 spacing.
The full Paper should reach the Organising Secretary on or
before 23 February 2015. Papers should not exceed five pages.
Any number of PG students from each college can present papers.
No registration fee is collected.
Students must bring letters of authorisation from the
Principal or the Head, Dept. of English of their respective Colleges, and they
must wear their ID cards.
Prizes for best papers and certificate of
participation will be given.
