The Chennai Book Fair 2016 is back in a new avatar! Christened as the Chennai Pongal Book Fair – it will be
held from Wednesday, 13 January to Sunday, 24 January 2016, at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai.
The organizers have also planned on
conducting debates, poetry and discussions with various authors.
Writers, scholars, scientists and many
famous personalities are expected to participate in the fair.
The entry fee for the event is Rs 5/-.
Admission is free for college and
school students. There is a discount of 10 per cent being given on the books.
