Paradise Lost and Dedication Found! ❤️😊

Beyond the Attendance Register | A Note of Appreciation

28th October 2026

Dear I MA English Students,

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to you, for your presence in class today.

At the fag end of this semester, especially when the “pressure of attendance” is no longer hanging like the proverbial sword of Damocles, 😊 your decision to show up in class today, your last teaching day with me for this semester, speaks volumes about your genuine commitment to your academic journey.

I am so overjoyed to see my dear students engage with the subject purely for the joy of learning rather than merely for that entry on the attendance register.

Your enthusiasm brings immense value to the class and makes our teaching experience deeply rewarding.

And yes! today we completed Paradise Lost Book IX on a very rewarding note!

We your professors are so proud of you.

Keep shining.

Arise, awake and stop not, till the goal is reached!

Best wishes.
