Written by Luigi Pirandello, the play is a thought
about books that are written but never completed and then forgotten. It deals
with a hypothetical scenario where six characters that were created by a
writer, but his work was never completed, come to life. It talks about their
desperate bid for survival, as they commence their search, for an author who
will complete their story and thus give them the immortality they long for.
