Elocution for I BA Eng. students..:

Today, had Elocution in I BA Prosody class and five students spoke, while two abstained. The last one to speak was Sarah Abraham - a revelation indeed. She spoke on Heaven/Hell? Where is it? The others who spoke were: Vidya Venkat Ian Pooja Pavithra Mahendran. Prof.Ganesh had a good and tough time adjudicating the programme, and said that we shall give prizes to all who spoke, as they all did very well, and deserved appreciation for their eagerness. He also offered to sponsor 50% of the amount for prizes.

A Staff Meeting was convened by the Principal to brief the Staff Council about the NAAC Report of the Peer committee. The Principal gave us all a surprise by announcing that the College has got a A + grade, a rare honour for colleges in India. This coveted grade will be in vogue for a period of five years, he said.
