If language is the dress of thought, then, the editorial piece of the day’s newspaper could be christened a ‘well-groomed’ article, in which thought is draped, embellished and beautified in such high quality ‘literariness’.
That’s hence, teachers and professors of English, down the ages, have always insisted on reading P. G. Wodehouse and the day’s Editorial π to help improve one’s language quotient.
