We spotted this lovely Black Drongo early into this morning.
At first glance, the tail looked completely different, and we were wondering if this is another ‘new’ species of the Black Drongo.
But then we got the news that, this is due to molting, when these birds periodically shed and regrow their flight feathers. This particular bird appears to be in the middle of replacing its tail feathers, it seems.
