We met this visually striking Asian bird of such lovely plumage – just this morning.
Well, if you ever hear a rhythmic, metallic took-took-took echoing through the trees, you might just be in the presence of the fascinating Coppersmith Barbet.
Aptly named thus, for its signature call that sounds remarkably like a metalsmith striking copper with a hammer! 😊
